{"id":145,"date":"2022-05-27T06:37:09","date_gmt":"2022-05-27T06:37:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arbre.lt\/?post_type=product&#038;p=145"},"modified":"2023-12-09T16:47:18","modified_gmt":"2023-12-09T16:47:18","slug":"hardwax-aliejus-tints","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/arbre.lt\/en\/product\/hardwax-aliejus-tints\/","title":{"rendered":"Hardwax Oil Tints"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>Advantages<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Resistant to dirt, water and abrasion;<\/li>\n<li>Simple application \u2013 no primer or intermediate sanding;<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for various wood and other microporous surfaces;<\/li>\n<li>Allows breathing, reduces swelling and shrinkage;<\/li>\n<li>The coating is resistant to wine, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk and water according to DIN 68861-1A;<\/li>\n<li>The dried surface is safe for humans and animals according to EN 71.3;<\/li>\n<li>Resistant to saliva and sweat according to DIN 53160.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Instructions for use<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Apply a very thin layer to the wood surface (you can use a sponge, oil applicator, Easy Pad, metal spatula, roller, brush or polishing machine, depending on the area you are going to cover);<\/li>\n<li>After application, thoroughly wipe excess oil from the surface with a clean cloth or paper towel;<\/li>\n<li>Allow the surface to dry for approximately 24 hours, ensuring good ventilation;<\/li>\n<li>Apply the second coat evenly in the wood grain pattern with a roller or brush and leave to dry (no need to wipe off excess). Use approx. 35 ml\/m\u00b2. The coat dries in approx. 8-10 hours. Ensure good ventilation;<\/li>\n<li>Corrections can be made within 30 minutes of the start of coating;<\/li>\n<li>Clean tools with Osmo Thinner and Brush Cleaner (aromatic-free) or with white spirit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note: If the surface achieves the desired shade with the first coat, apply a second coat of clear Hardwax-oil. When renovating or re-oiling already oiled surfaces, one coat of oil on a clean and dry surface is usually sufficient. Apply with a roller or brush.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Drying time<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Drying time \u2013 approx. 24 hours (under normal weather conditions, 23 \u00b0C temp. and 50 % relative humidity). Low temperatures and\/or higher humidity may extend the drying time. Ensure good ventilation. After 2 \u2013 3 weeks, the surface is fully mature and hardened. Oiled surfaces should be wet cleaned only after 3 weeks. Lay the tiles after 2 weeks.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Coverage<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>1 liter covers approximately 30 m\u00b2 in one coat. The coverage of the product depends greatly on the characteristics of the selected wood.
