{"id":430,"date":"2022-06-01T13:02:36","date_gmt":"2022-06-01T13:02:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arbre.lt\/?post_type=product&#038;p=430"},"modified":"2023-12-09T16:55:12","modified_gmt":"2023-12-09T16:55:12","slug":"hardwax-aliejus-natural-effect","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/arbre.lt\/en\/product\/hardwax-aliejus-natural-effect\/","title":{"rendered":"Hardwax oil Natural Effect"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>Advantages<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Resistant to dirt, water and abrasion;<\/li>\n<li>Simple application \u2013 no primer or intermediate sanding;<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for various wood and other microporous surfaces;<\/li>\n<li>Allows breathing, reduces swelling and shrinkage;<\/li>\n<li>The coating is resistant to wine, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk and water according to DIN 68861-1A;<\/li>\n<li>The dried surface is safe for humans and animals according to EN 71.3;<\/li>\n<li>Resistant to saliva and sweat according to DIN 53160.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Surface preparation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>The wood surface must be clean, dry and not frozen (maximum moisture content 18%).<\/li>\n<li>Mix very well with a spatula before use. Hardwax oil is ready to use, the product does not need to be diluted.<\/li>\n<li>The surface to be coated must be thoroughly cleaned. Old paint and varnish must be completely removed (wear a respirator during sanding).<\/li>\n<li>Fill small cracks, joints or holes in the wood (with Osmo Wood Filler). Sand the wood surface carefully.<\/li>\n<li>Start with coarse sandpaper \u2013 final sanding should be done with P120 \u2013 150.<\/li>\n<li>Before oiling the surface, remove sanding dust with a broom or vacuum cleaner. Different wood characteristics may affect the final result, so we recommend performing a test varnishing on a small area, especially on unfamiliar surfaces. Shades may differ from the color shown.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong>Instructions for use:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Apply a very thin layer to the wood surface, you can use a sponge, oil applicator, Easy Pad, metal spatula, roller, brush or polishing machine, depending on the area you are going to cover;<\/li>\n<li>After application, thoroughly wipe off excess oil from the surface with a clean cloth or paper towel. Allow the surface to dry for approximately 8-10 hours, ensuring good ventilation;<\/li>\n<li>Apply the second coat thinly, evenly in the wood grain with a roller or brush and leave to dry (no need to wipe off excess). Use approx. 35 ml\/m\u00b2. The coat dries in approx. 8-10 hours. Ensure good ventilation;<\/li>\n<li>Touch-ups can be made within 30 minutes of application. When renovating or re-oiling already oiled surfaces, one coat of oil on a clean and dry surface is usually sufficient. Apply with a roller or brush;<\/li>\n<li>After all work is completed, it is advisable to clean the tools with Osmo thinner, brush cleaner (without aromatic compounds) or white spirit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong>Drying time<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Drying time \u2013 approx. 24 hours (under normal weather conditions, 23 \u00b0C temp. and 50 % relative humidity). Low temperatures and\/or higher humidity may extend the drying time. Ensure good ventilation. After 2-3 weeks, the surface is fully mature and hardened. Oiled surfaces should be wet cleaned only after 3 weeks. Carpets should be laid after 2 weeks.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Coverage<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>1 liter covers approx. 30 m\u00b2 in one coat. The coverage of the product depends largely on the type of wood selected and its characteristics.
